his fearless style
in the ring.
He was nicknamed, the Homicidal, as that is what he was in the ring

The latest on Sammy is that he resides in Las Vegas, Nevada and he is trying
to make a comeback in 2009 as a boxing promoter.
Sammy had 14-1 records with 11 KO's when he retired (or semi retired)
due to an eye condition which meant that every time he was hit, his eyes
would water.
